The Jefferson City Art Club, celebrating art for 121 years, was founded in 1903. The mission of the Art Club is dedication to the study of and the fostering of art appreciation in the community. This mission is carried out by the Executive Committee and members. The Executive Committee for 2024-2025 is:

The Jefferson City Art Club sponsors and supports several art shows during a calendar year. These include the Ruth Hogan Children's Art Show (for elementary students, but cancelled this year due to lack of interest), the High School Sketch Day (for local high school students), the Adult Fine Art Show, and the Adult Professional Exhibit (happening every other year). The Jefferson City Art Club is made up entirely of volunteers from the Executive Committee to all of the art club members. We thank them every year for their tireless efforts to bring art to the Jefferson City Community.
Volunteers run the Art Club meetings, and volunteer at the Capital Arts Gallery in Jefferson City. Members also help at public art events during the year. such as receptions for all of the Art Club and Capital Arts Gallery exhibitions, the fall Chalk Art event, and the Fall Artist Fling (TBD)
