JCAC Featured Artists

Featured artists on this website must be JCAC members. (see Become a Member above) Artists are chosen by the JCAC president and posted here. Featured artists show their art on the home page, the gallery page, and in person at Hawthorn Bank West lobby. The physical showing at the bank can be optional if the artist opts out of that opportunity. Just let the Art Club president know so another artist can show at the bank during your time. All images are copyright of the artist. Featured artists are responsible for communicating with potential customers and all sales and related sales taxes. Please provide the webmaster with preferred contact information. 

Upcoming Featured Artists

Featured artists will be showing their images online and at Hawthorn Bank west. The list will be updated as soon as artists are chosen. Info for hanging--5-6 pieces of artwork framed with hangers, 4 of these should be 16x20 or less. 2 pieces of artwork can be larger for the back wall behind the tellers, and blank wall to left as you come into the lobby.

Webmaster Cheryl Schweitzer will need your information to add to the website for featured artist. Please send cropped, in focus copies of your images (5-20 count), your biography no matter how short, and an image of you creating art, or a candid photo or headshot. It helps to name each image as you have them saved on your computer or phone, so she can see the titles and add them to the website. Include a preferred email, phone number, or website for contact info that will show on the website. (no prices are added so the artist can decide a price if/when a sale occurs. All sales are between the artist and the purchaser-the JCAC does not collect commission for any sales) Email those to Cheryl at Cherylarti@gmail.com, at least a week ahead of your time on the schedule. You may have to send several emails with the images so they'll send properly. It will be at least 24 hours before the changes can be made and published to view, depending on the schedule being on a holiday date. 

Currently, members of JCAC are allowed to show their art at the office of Dr. Benjamin Cook, at JCMG on Stadium Blvd. Contact Janis Burgin, she organizes artists for this office. Her email is jbartstudio@yahoo.com.
